MassSave offers income eligible programs to help manage energy costs. To help promote these programs your local utilities and energy efficiency providers have joined with the Massachusetts Association for Community Action (MASSCAP) and Low-Income Energy Affordability Network (LEAN). For this program you do need to meet eligibility requirements being your total household income must be below than 60% of the median income in Massachusetts. To find out if you qualify for these programs call Mass Save® at 866-527-SAVE (7283).
Locally, Quincy Community Action Program offers utility sponsored energy conservation programs. Through National Grid or NStar customers can receive a free appliance and electrical use audit.
